• Adopt an all-encompassing statewide nondiscrimination policy that includes sexual orientation and gender identity, targeting key areas like employment, housing, and public spaces.

• Make it easier for our transgender community members to modify gender details on official documents isn't just about paperwork; it's about acknowledging their identity with the respect they deserve.

• Ban destructive practices like conversion therapy, so we can further assure the mental and emotional well-being of our LGBTQ Texans.

• Ban the gay/trans panic defense

• Legalize same sex marriage and remove anti-sodomy laws through the legislature in case Obergefell v. Hodges and Lawrence v. Texas are changed by the Supreme Court. 

• Prioritizing the passage of citizen led ballot initiatives so Texans can enshrine the right to interracial marriage and LGBTQ+ marriage into our Constitution

• Grant parents the agency to make informed healthcare decisions for their transgender children

By championing these causes, Texas can proudly pave the way toward a more inclusive, respectful, and rights-oriented future for all of its residents
