• Passing expanded universal background checks to buy a gun

• Requiring domestic abusers prohibited from possessing firearms to relinquish the firearms they own

• Enacting an Extreme Risk law to empower loved ones or law enforcement to intervene in order to temporarily prevent someone in crisis from accessing firearms.

• Raising the minimum age to purchase specific classes of firearms used in mass shootings

• Requiring safe storage of firearms to keep children safe at home

• Increasing funding for mental health and jobs

• Increasing the number of detectives hailing from local communities to raise abysmal murder clearance rates and keep every community, no matter their identity or income, safe.

• Increasing funding for collaboration between agencies so stolen guns can be tracked more effectively
